HAVING A SIBLING WITH CEREBRAL PALSY | How I Make Sure My Children Feel Loved And Included

I wouldn’t have been completely surprised if my boys had developed some kind of resentment or jealousy towards Avery, I would have been devastated, but not surprised. After all, their sister has Cerebral Palsy and takes a lot of attention and care. But, my incredible, resilient boys have been nothing but loving and affectionate towards Avery. They’ve adapted so well and I’m so proud of them.

When they’re home from school I like to plan activities where I can give them my attention, and make sure they still know I will always have time for them no matter what. Siblings and Cerebral Palsy can be tough to navigate, luckily my children make the process very easy.
