KA-BAR Dozier folding hunter edc review

This is a long term review of my KA BAR Dozier folding hunter. I bought this knife a little over two years ago with a few others in an attempt to find a good EDC work blade. I wanted a knife that wouldnt break the bank if I lost it. I also did not want to feel bad using it as a tool, so a utilitarian design was important.
The KA BAR Dozier has performed very well as a practical functional no frills EDC tool. The simple lock design is easily manipulated with gloved hands which is a big point for me as I ride motorcycle and winter camp. The blade while not a super steel is more than capable of doing any task I put it to, yes it will require sharpening frequently but is very easy to put an edge back on. The steel has been very resistant to rust and corrosion even with extended use in water and for cleaning small game and fish.
