Savji food is known for its very hot and spicy flavor in many cities (where they are in large numbers) served in small family-style restaurants called Savji khanavali
or "Savji hotel" or bhojanalaya, found in places like Nagpur in Maharashtra.

Saoji curry is special gravy mainly used in preparing non-vegetarian (chicken and mutton dishes); But can also be used to prepare a vegetarian dish (Potato, Paneer or Soya Chunk).
Saoji chicken or Mutton is famous for its spicy taste and is highly recommended to all spicy food lovers.

Ingredients for making Saoji Chicken Curry Recipe

Bay leaf - 4
Cinnamon - 2
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tbsp
Dry Fenugreek Leaves - 1 Tbsp

Green Cardamom - 4
Black Cardamom - 4

Coriander Roots - 30 gms
Fresh Coconut - 1 small
Fried Onions - 5
Poppy Seeds - 1 Tbsp

Chicken - 1 KG
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Tbsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp
Salt - to taste
Coriander Leaves - a few
Green Chillies Slit - 3
