If the stars hadn't aligned, two of the most remarkable spacecraft, would have never gotten off the ground. In this case, the stars were actually planets, the four largest planets in the solar system.

Launched way back in 1977, the Voyager spacecraft took advantage of a rare planetary alignment, of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Both the spacecraft were initially launched to study the outer planets in our solar system, but the universe had other plans for them.

NASA’s Voyager spacecrafts have had an amazing journey. Both the Voyager spacecrafts still remains the farthest man made objects in interstellar space.

Over the years, both Voyagers spacecrafts, have given humanity a look at our solar system, unlike anything we've ever seen before.

it will be sad, to see this legendary mission, finally coming to an end.

The past 45 years have brought an amazing amount of progress, in our quest to explore the universe. Not only we have put humans on the Moon, but we’ve learned more about our solar system, than ever before.

At the centre of many of these discoveries are two old space probes. Two probes are designed to carry out a single four-year mission. But now, that mission has extended well beyond 40 years.
