Calendra has been fully funded on Kickstarter & will be coming to customers this Autumn!!To help celebrate, I want to share some fun little videos that show how the cards work!

Last year when we ran our Kickstarter on The Great Chase, one of my favorite video series to prepare were our “Character Spotlights” which showed the special traits each character brings to the game! So this year I thought I would do the same to highlight the six special abilities that cards in Calendra might possess. These abilities are:

•Anti-Weather
•Anti-Plague
•Anti-Swap
•Score Modifiers
•The Swap
•The Ancient

And today we are Highlighting one of the most tricky abilities this game has to offer: The Ancient! In Calendra, The Ancient possesses an ability that no other card has! It can act as any of the runes necessary to achieve one of the winning hands in the game. This includes: being used as a Queen, Changeling, Beast, Count, Countess, or Plague when ending a round. It is more or less like a Joker from a deck of poker cards, but also counts toward other game objectives, like scoring pints as well!
