What is left in Leicester of the GCR?

Join me as I walk across Leicester following the route of the Great Central Railway from South to North, from derelict and mostly forgotten to restored and running, this is one of my most interesting walks yet!

Starting near the old wagon shed and moving past the site of the loved Bowstring Bridge I check in on the station before moving North fing parts of the forgotten rlway all the way to the restored railway at Leicester North where I had the biggest surprise of all!

For a channel that is normally out in the sticks trying to find the railways of old to suddenly be watching a steam train travelling along my favourite old railway is a sight to behold.

I absolutely loved this adventure and I hope you do to.
