Super Castlevania IV (SNES | Uncensored Patch) - (1cc | Longplay)

Описание к видео Super Castlevania IV (SNES | Uncensored Patch) - (1cc | Longplay)

Hello again folks, today we have a very epic platformer for the snes
Super Castlevania IV, man oh man this game is just amazing.

Superb graphics and stages, epic bosses, great atmospheric music, and most of all, the best controls I've seen in a video game. Gone are the stiff controls from the NES games as the controls for simon are improved big time.

Plot is essentially the same but fans say that it's a retelling of the first castlevania game. Meaning lore/story is the only thing similar between castlevania I and IV

I can't really do this game justice, it's difficulty is just right (excluding some cheap platforming segments), small recovery items now appear opposed to the secret porkchop wall thing, it's generous with hearts so using your sub-weapons over and over shouldn't cause issues which in this case is the cross. Seriously the cross is very OP in IV compared to the previous 3 titles.

Last but not least, is the wonderful controls. Simon now has full mobility in the air, he can crouch and walk, and he can whip in a total of 8 directions. Which sadly, was never implemented again in the later titles. There's now a separate button for your sub-weapon, you can hold down the jump button in the stairs to stand still and whip or face left or right. The controls are just perfect.

This right here though is the uncensored patch which is just the Japanese version of castlevania IV, highly recommend this for the best experience

Castlevania IV is just an exquisite platformer with fair challenge, solid and tight controls, big stages with unique environments, and atmospheric music. This for me would be the best linear castlevania game. This is a must have for snes owners or fans of the series.
