Recover/Me Pilot: Patient Stories and Awareness: Multiple Sclerosis survivor Amanda Campbell

RecoverMe Pilot - Episode 1 informs and inspires the viewer on matters of recovery. We talk to someone who has been on a journey that typically is a major health challenge and through the clinical care, therapy and support of medical professional they start the healing process. These people have become battling heroes that they never wanted to become, but now inspire us.

With each episode we inform viewers on a related treatment that they may not have heard of. These treatments can be considered in consultation with their medical professional. Our coverage of these treatments through Recover/Me is based on outcomes that have been acknowledged by medical professionals.

In the pilot episode we hear of the amazing journey Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Survivor Amanda Campbell has taken. Dr Ann-Maree Kurzydlo meets her at a stage in her life where her business is growing and she is educating others about her recovery experience. This is a lady who was given a 50/50 chance of being able to walk again.

Next we hear from Illusionist Jack Daniels on the use of magic as therapy in the Nepean Hospital in Western Sydney. The program Project Magic is the brainchild of the legendary David Copperfield and has potential across other hospitals and community in Australia.
