Though it's probably most widely considered a thriller, and perhaps a science-fiction story, I think it's no coincidence that The Boys from Brazil was written by Ira Levin, the writer who had previously given us Rosemary's Baby, the famous tale of a woman impregnated by the Devil.

The Boys from Brazil is not in any way a religious-inflected fantasy, but I think it's very obviously a tale of an Antichrist, albeit a secular one. I won't say more, in case the story's secret is unknown to anybody reading this, but I think this is a story that makes an interesting partner with 'The Omen' when you think about it...
