Recipe 1A is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for adult maintenance. This formula will only be complete and balanced if using the exact ingredients, weighed correctly, cooked and mixed using a ChefPaw machine set to 100C for 40 mins, and refrigerated immediately when the batch is complete.

SPEED SETTING #2 for a well-mixed semi-chunky batch.

Pro Tip: For best texture and consistency, start with
speed setting #2 until the entire contents begin to
spin (about 5 mins) then reduce to speed setting #1.

Always check the batch, halfway into the cooking time to ensure the contents are mixed. Sometimes when an excessive amount of frozen or larger uncut ingredients are used the contents will not mix properly. If any ingredients have not been mixed halfway through the batch, immediately pause cooking, remove the lid, and use the spatula to give the ingredients a quick stir.
