On November 21, the SBTi launched the Buildings Science-Based Target-Setting Guidance and Tool Drafts for Pilot Testing. The aim of this pilot phase is for companies and financial institutions (FIs) in the buildings value chain to test the SBTi Buildings Guidance and Tool drafts using their datasets, help identify any possible amendments that need to be made, and inform these resources applicability across regions and businesses.

Companies and FIs that are interested in participating in the pilot phase must submit their interest by December 10, 2023.
