'I lost 60 members of my family in Gaza’ | Yara Eid | Real Talk

“In the last six weeks, I’ve lost everything,” says Yara Eid, who has lost at least 60 family members during Israel’s bombardment of #Gaza.

In this Real Talk interview, we spoke with the Palestinian journalist and human rights advocate about the tragedy of losing dozens of family members who were killed due to Israel’s bombing of the Strip following the 7 October Hamas-led attack.

She also recounts the pain of being unable to reach her mother during intermittent communication blackouts, and what she misses most about Gaza.
