ABOUT THE SHIM SHAM FLASH MOB

This Flash Mob event honors one of swing's biggest traditions by bringing together people from all over Montreal and from all over the world in one united dance: the Shim Sham!

Special thanks to all swing dancers from the Montreal swing scene (you came even though it was Father's Day and after an amazing but probably tiring day at the Montreal Balboa Review -- thank you!!) and all visitors from all over the world attending the Rotary International 2010 Convention who took part in this amazing event, as well as to the teachers from Studio 88 Swing (Annie Trudeau, Max Pitruzzella, Natasha Ouimet, Didier Jean-Francois), to the sponsoring Rotary Clubs of district 7040 (Rotary Club of Laval, Rotary Club of Cornwall, Rotary Club of 1000 Islands and Rotary Club of Old-Montreal), and to camera crew Chris Cochrane as well as Peter Krieger, Stephane Kirouoac and Stuart Cleland from Rotary International. Thanks to all other volunteers as well, who are mentioned in the credits along with the pictures at the end of the video :)
