Native to South Africa and grows to about 8 inches tall.

The succulent is unique for its dark green, curly leaves that may become more curly with bright sunlight.

Flowers: Has stunning, bell shaped flowers that are green-yellow with a slight vanilla fragrance. Flowers appear in the summer.

Sun: Outdoors in filtered sunlight Direct sun will burn the leaves and dry out the plant.

Water: About twice a week in the summer and about once a week in the winter.

The plant goes dormant or stops growing in the winter. The leaves will drop and you’ll just see the bulb. But the leaves will return in the spring.

Not the best plant to keep indoors and not frost hardy

Another important tip to care for this plant is to remove the flowers when it starts to turn brown. This process will help prevent the tips of the leaves from turning a rusty red color.
