This activity demands high-level Motor Planning and Sequencing! The child is challenged to coordinate multiple actions simultaneously: maintaining dynamic balance while walking on uneven stepping surfaces, and precisely manipulating an object with their hands (like a stick and rings) to complete the course task.

This advanced Occupational Therapy drill targets:

🧠 Motor Planning (Praxis): The ability to mentally map out and flawlessly execute a complex series of movements in the correct order (sequencing).

⚖️ Dynamic Balance: Continuous, subtle core and leg adjustments required to stay stable on unstable steps while performing hand tasks.

✋👁️ Hand-Eye Coordination: Guiding the hands precisely to interact with objects (hooking, placing, retrieving) while the body is in motion.

⬆️ Sequencing: Following the correct order of steps and tasks throughout the obstacle course, a foundational skill for academics and daily life.

✨ Grading of Movement: Using careful, controlled force to manipulate the objects without dropping them or losing balance.
