This is Fue's territory but I do have 3/5 SS Cynthia so I wanted to try this out.

Sync acceleration is a very specific playstyle that requires foresight. 1/5 SS Cynthia is necessary and 3/5 is even better for Trainer Move MPR. SS Cynthia accelerates sync countdown and it eats more turns depending on how low her HP is. On multi-stage areas like BV you can set her health ahead of time to get the most optimal sync reduction she can provide. When paired with another unit that plays for sync acceleration, like EleSSa or SS Leaf, you can reach sync on 1 round. That's dumb.

This set-up works with a lot of units. You stack sync buffs so fast that you can get stupid strong with anybody.

I picked Hau because I like him. With sync acceleration you more than likely want to use a sync nuker. Hau fits the bill with Inertia but he was still too weak to kill Bewear before 1st sync. He still pulled through though.
