Sony: How to check, if your Phone is Original or Fake? - 2 Codes to check, if it is real or not

With this tutorial video, I want to show you, how you can find out, if your Sony Xperia phone is an original or just a clone. I will show you two secret codes to check the IMEI number and the model number.

1. IMEI number (an unique number for each phone): dial *#06#
2. Model number (and a Test Mode for the device): dial #*#7378423#*#

It works for several devices like:
Sony Xperia One-series (1, 1 II, ...)
Sony Xperia Five-series (5, 5 II, ...)
Sony Xperia Ten-series (10, 10 II, ...)
Sony Xperia X-series (X, X compact, ...)
Sony Xperia XZ-series (XZ, XZ1, XZ Premium, XZ2, ...)
Sony Xperia Z-series (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z5, Z3 compact, Z5 compact, ...)
Sony Xperia XA-series (XA, XA2, ...)
Sony Xperia M-series (M1, M2, M3, M4, ...)
