Someone else was first written when I was alone in my room with a guitar. The room was filled with melancholy silence, but in my head, it was loud. There were all these feelings and thoughts lingering, waiting to be expressed in some way. Then I randomly played a melody on my guitar, which became the intro to Someone else. That’s when I sang random notes while playing the guitar, and before I knew it, I was singing the first half of the song.

เพลง Someone else ถูกแต่งครั้งแรกตอนเดน่าอยู่ในห้องคนเดียวกับกีตาร์ ห้องนั้นเต็มไปด้วยความเงียบ แต่ในหัวเดน่า ทุกอย่างกลับดัง มันมีความคิดและความรู้สึกที่วนเวียนอยู่ และกำลังรอที่จะได้แสดงออกไม่ทางใดก็ทางหนึ่ง ต่อจากนั้นเดน่าก็เล่นทำนองหนึ่งออกมาบนกีตาร์ ซึ่งกลายเป็น intro ของเพลง Someone Else นั่นก็คือตอนที่เดน่าร้องโน้ตมั่วๆออกมา และก่อนที่เดน่าจะรู้ตัว เดน่าก็ได้ร้องครึ่งแรกของเพลงแล้ว
