A row has erupted at Delhi’s Hansraj College after the campus was decorated for the principal’s son’s wedding, prompting protests by over 200 students led by the Students’ Federation of India. Students allege that college grounds and hostels were repurposed for wedding guests, disrupting academic and extracurricular activities, including the annual ‘Khelo Hansraj’ tournament. Delhi University officials, however, clarified that the wedding took place in the principal’s official residence and no irregularity occurred. Students continue to demand a probe, warning of further protests if their concerns are ignored.
