eBike camping or hotel staying - comparing kit I have to carry for Bikepack V Bike Touring

When you are touring by eBike the single factor that makes the biggest difference to how much you have to carry is whether you are camping and thus having to carry lots of sleep gear or staying in hotels and this able to travel light. I've done both and in this video I show you have my bike is rigged out, then the considerable amount of extra gear I need if I'm campaign and finally the very much smaller quantity I need when I'm travelling between hotels.

This isn't about which is best or right, that's very much an individual decisions and even for myself I mostly prefer bikepacking with wild camping for most trips and not just because it's cheaper. But there is no denying the hotel touring route is much easier when affordable and I spent over 3 weeks in Spain doing that with zero regrets.
