In this concept trailer for AHSOKA Season 2, we get our first glimpse at the epic new chapter of the saga—featuring Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), alongside Sabine Wren, stranded on Peridea as a mysterious new threat looms. The teaser, styled like the classic Empire Strikes Back trailer, hints at colossal Mortis‑god statues, ancient machines, and giant dark droids. Meanwhile, in the main galaxy, Ezra Bridger, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Hera Syndulla, Admiral Ackbar, and Chopper are entrenched in a desperate struggle that spans two galaxies.

One of the most anticipated returns is Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker—not just as a Force ghost, but in a significantly larger role, per filming schedules and speculation indicating extended on‑screen presence throughout Season 2. Baylan Skoll will return, too—now played by Rory McCann, stepping in after the passing of Ray Stevenson—and will figure prominently in Ahsoka’s journey on Peridea. Abeloth, the cosmic entity from Star Wars Expanded Universe lore, is teased as the primary villain for this season—bringing dark occult powers tied to the Mortis‑god mythology.

Beyond Ahsoka and Anakin, Season 2 will reunite several beloved characters from Star Wars Rebels and other corners of the universe. Eman Esfandi returns as live‑action Ezra Bridger, now sporting his animated look in new promotional images; Mary Elizabeth Winstead reprises Hera Syndulla with a more active role; and Lars Mikkelsen returns as Grand Admiral Thrawn. Other confirmed appearances include Admiral Ackbar, Zeb Orrelios, Chopper, Huyang, and Enoch. Filming began in April 2025 in the UK and eight episodes are expected, with a streaming release slated for 2026 on Disney+.
