SI-UK's Discover UK Universities Series with University of Southampton

SI-UK’s ‘Discover UK Universities’ series is a behind the scenes look into the impressive support UK universities provide international students across the UK. We recently visited University of Southampton. The Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI) was created a decade ago to foster and further advance the impact of its interdisciplinary work in this area. While each project and programme of activity in this area is significant, collectively they also contribute to the further strengthening of Southampton and the Solent as an internationally important Maritime Cluster. As a result, they reinforce its status as a Civic University with societal and economic relevance to the region.
