🕉️ The Mystery of Two Attahasa Shaktipeethas | Which One Is Real? | Full Journey & Divine Experience
In this video, I take you on a spiritual journey to two temples — both claiming to be the Attahasa Shaktipeetha, where it is believed that Sati Devi’s lower lip fell. Join me as I explore both the Phullara Temple in Labhpur, Birbhum and the temple at Ketugram, uncovering powerful energy, age-old traditions, and deep devotion.
📍What Are Shaktipeethas?
Shaktipeethas are sacred temples dedicated to Goddess Sati (Shakti), where her body parts are said to have fallen after the tragic event of Daksha Yagna. When Sati Devi immolated herself, God Shiva carried her body in grief, and God Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra to cut the body into pieces to calm Shiva's rage. These body parts fell in various places across the Indian subcontinent, and each spot became a Shaktipeetha.
🛕Attahasa Shaktipeetha is believed to be the place where Sati's lower lip fell. However, two temples claim this title — one in Labhpur and another in Ketugram. In this video, I visit both, feel the divine energy in each, and share the myths, beliefs, and facts around them.
🙏Whether you're a spiritual seeker, a history lover, or someone fascinated by India’s ancient temple mysteries, this video will give you a deep and emotional look into the world of Shakti worship.

Because in yesterday’s video, we already explored Attahasa, also known as Fullara Temple, where it’s believed that Goddess Sati’s lower lip fell.
Well… I was confused too!
But here’s the interesting part—there’s another temple that also claims to be the real Attahasa Shakti Peetha.
So today, I’m going to visit that second Attahasa Temple and explore it myself. Let’s see if we can figure out which one is the original Shakti Peetha! So lets go.
The path to the temple feels so nostalgic… On both sides, we can see green paddy fields, peaceful ponds, and even a few buffalo carts passing by. This village mainly depends on rice farming, and you’ll see many villagers drying rice right beside the road. It’s such a peaceful and heartwarming scene—it really takes us back in time.
So after visiting both temples, what I felt at both places was honestly beyond words— so much devotion, powerful spiritual energy, and the divine presence of the Goddess.
Yes, the Phullara Temple in Labhpur is more widely known and generally accepted as the original Attahasa Shaktipeetha, where it's believed that Sati Devi’s lower lip fell. Many old texts and traditions support this, and most devotees and scholars consider it the main site.
Now, the temple at Ketugram also claims to be Attahasa. But some traditions say it’s actually the place of the Bahula Shaktipeetha, where Sati’s left arm is said to have fallen — which I’ll be visiting next. Since these two temples are so close to each other, it has caused some confusion over time.
But here’s the thing — over centuries, geography changes, dynasties come and go, and many details get lost in history. But one thing that never fades is faith.
So instead of asking which one is ‘real,’ maybe what really matters is — can you feel the divine energy in both? And I truly did.
Both temples are unique, powerful, and full of spiritual charm. If you ever get the chance, do visit both. Feel the energy, connect with the Goddess, and let the experience speak to your heart.
