Q: What is NoCough for? Can it treat cough?

A: NoCough is an herbal patch that relieves cough, mild asthma and sore throat, and helps loosen the phlegm in the respiratory tract which is the major cause of coughing. No, it cannot treat cough. There is no cure for cough because cough is a reflex and only a symptom. It only lessens the coughing by expelling the phlegm and/or relaxing the airways.


Q: How does NoCough work? What does it do?

A: NoCough is made with purely herbal and organic ingredients (Fructus Gleditsiae Abnormalis, Cortex Cinnamomi, Pinellia Ternata, Rhizoma Arisaematis, Borneol, and Jujube Nectar) that mostly help with loosening and expelling the phlegm which is the common cause of cough, and helps relaxing the airways.

However, effectiveness depends per individual. We still advise to get checked up by a doctor before using the patch because coughing is just a symptom so there might be an underlying cause why the person experiences it. NoCough is not an antibiotic nor an antihistamine.


Q: Are there any contraindications and side effects?

A: NoCough is not recommended for pregnant women, lactating moms and babies below 3 months old. Even though NoCough is made from herbs, there are no studies or research that can prove if it is safe or unsafe to these individuals.

There are no known side effects of NoCough but use it following the instructions written at the back of the box.

We also recommend to go to the doctor to get checked up before you use this product especially if you are experiencing cough with any of the following:

1) with fever and/or chills

3) difficulty of breathing, chest pains or palpitation

4) nausea and vomiting, or any digestive issues

Q: I'm afraid I'm allergic to its ingredients. How do I perform skin allergy test?

A: Remove the seals and stick the patch on the inner part of the arm. After 5 minutes, remove the patch. Wait for 2 hours if there is any allergic reaction. If redness, rashes, swelling or any abnormal reaction appears, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE the patch but do not throw it away. Patches can still be used on other persons in the family. Just do the skin allergy test first again. Write down the ingredients for awareness.


Q: Usage (Who can use? How to use? Can I reuse the patch? What is the best time to use? How to remove it?)

A: NoCough has a wide age range. It can be used for babies at least 3 months old and above including adults and seniors.

To use, clean the part where you will stick the patch on. remove the white paper seals from the patch (one on the outer circle and the other on the black circle) but do not remove black circle because that is where the plant extract is! Stick it on the chest or on the back.

NoCough can be used anytime! However, for small kids, we recommend using it at bedtime as they tend to be sweaty in the morning.

Use only 1 to 2 patches at a time. For children 2 years old and below, start with 1 patch only. If cough doesn't get better, stick 2 on the next evening.

One patch lasts for up to 12 hours. If you exceeded this time, it is okay. The effectiveness just gets lessened.

When removing the patch, you can use a baby oil or water to dampen it first especially for small kids.


Q: Can I take a bath after using it?

A: Definitely! In fact, I bathe my kid before I remove the patch so it can be easily removed after.


Q: Can I take my medicines while using it?
