🔴😋🥚🌶️A coastal snack packed with Goan masala, deep-fried to golden perfection.
Crispy outside, spicy inside – Goan Egg Chops hit different! 🌊🔥
Perfect with ketchup or Goan pao. One bite = full Goa mood 😋🥚🌶️

🥚 Ingredients
• 4 boiled eggs
• 1 cup mashed potatoes
• 1 onion (finely chopped)
• 2 green chillies (chopped)
• 4–5 garlic cloves (crushed)
• ½ inch ginger (crushed)
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• ½ tsp turmeric
• ½ tsp garam masala
• 1 tsp vinegar (optional but recommended)
• Salt to taste
• ½ cup bread crumbs
• 1 egg (for coating)
• Oil for frying
🌶️ Goan Masala Mix (for authentic taste)
Add any 1 of these if available:
• 1 tsp Goan recheado masala or
• 1 tsp Goan xacuti masala
(If not, the above spices + vinegar still work great.)
👨‍🍳 Method
1. Heat 1 tsp oil → add onion, chillies, ginger, garlic. Sauté 1 min.
2. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, Goan masala, salt. Mix well.
3. Add mashed potatoes + vinegar. Cook 1 min, cool it.
4. Coat each boiled egg with the potato mix, shape into chops.
5. Dip in beaten egg → roll in bread crumbs.
6. Fry in hot oil till crispy golden.
🥯 Serving
Best with:
• Tomato ketchup
• Goan pao (bread)
• Onion salad + lime
