Detailed War Camps for the Discerning Warlord - Tents for D&D.

Tents Will Get Used. In D&D, it's pretty much that simple. Players will camp, pitch tents, and sooner or later, get ambushed or attacked - it's so common it's practically a trope!

But more than this, sooner or later, players often end up infiltrating an enemy camp for one reason or another.

Tents are such a universally useful thing to have on hand, but I've never been happy with the methods often used, and certainly not with plastic or printed tents - to me they just…don't look right.

So, I did my usual and tried out some new materials and methods to get a realistic, but still playable result! I'm pretty happy with where this military campsite ended up, it's quick, cheap, realistic, playable, surprisingly durable and very flexible.

Without a base on the tents they can be used in any environment naturally, and with an open interior and raised edges thanks to the poles, they work very well even on static grass or other uneven surfaces - perfect for use with the kind of realistic terrain I'm aiming to fill my shelves with :)
