1247 The Making of an Ikebana Master

The video showcases the amazing life and journey of an ordinary girl growing up in Japan who turned into a multi talented artist and became a world renowned Ikebana master. She has received many awards throughout her life. Most notably among the highest of honors conferred by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan upon an individual, the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, due to her dedication and achievements in promoting the culture of Japan around the world through the beautiful art of floral arrangement. Mrs. Fusako Seiga Hoyrup is not only a great Ikebana master, but also a wonderful painter and poet. She is the founder and president of the Wafu school of Ikebana California chapter with nearly 200 members. They celebrated their 50th anniversary with a flower show on March 4-5, 2023.

2023年3月4日、5日の両日50周年記念の花展を催されました。
