Laser Screed Concrete Flooring :- The S-10A laser screed machine has a boom reach of 20 feet with a head size of 10 feet, making it capable of leveling 200 square feet in a pass. Powered by a 35-horsepower Kubota engine, the unit weighs 7,500 pounds. Dimensions are 5 feet 11 inches high, 23 feet long, and 6 feet 8 inches wide. The company’s Open Architecture Somero Integrated System (OASIS) provides grade control.

When casting a slab using a laser screed, start by preparing the subgrade to ensure it’s level and compacted. Set up the laser screed equipment, ensuring proper calibration for
accuracy. Pour the concrete and use the laser screed to level and consolidate the mix, guided by the laser system. Ensure a consistent thickness and finish. After screeding, perform any necessary finishing touches, like edging and jointing, for a smooth and durable slab.
