BAKING LEMON SQUARES! 🍋 WITH MY SISTER SAM 🍰 | KC Concepcion

Three years ago, you met my sister Samantha ~ or simply “Sam” ~ as we did our Q&A vlog here on The KC Diaries ☺️

This time, another sister bonding is here!!! But, this time, we’re here to do something close to her heart—baking!!! 👩🏻‍🍳 Pinagbigyan niya ko to do an interview vlog in 2021, ngayon si Sam naman ang masusunod! 😉

Disclaimer lang guys—I’m not a baker! Nahihilo ako sa measurements haha 😵‍💫 But with Sam’s help I think we did well —or not? 🤣

If you want to follow Sam’s Lemon Squares 🍋 recipe, here’s what you’ll need:

Crust:
- 1/2 teaspoon fine, sifted salt
- 1¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup butter (softened, not melted)
- 6 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder or 1/6 tsp cream of tartar
Filling:

- 2 eggs (1tablespoon + 2 teaspoon)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind
- 1/4 tsp (+ a dash) of baking powder or 1/6 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 +1/4 tsp baking powder
- powdered sugar (for topping)

Topping: Powdered Sugar

Just follow Sam’s instructions and you’re good to go! 😋
