Fear, the third studio album by Toad the Wet Sprocket, was released August 27th, 1991 and became the first commercial success for the band. The album eventually peaked inside the top 50 of Billboard's album charts and was certified platinum three years after its release. The fourth single release from fear, "Walk on the Ocean," was released on October 15th, 1992 and climbed to #18 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts (the second single from the album to crack the top 20). This performance of "Walk on the Ocean" was recorded at The Shack in Santa Barbara, CA shortly before the release of the album on June 14th, 1991.
