Chevy Silverado 4L60-E Transmission Filter & Fluid Replacement How-To

This video will show you how to drain and replace the internal transmission filter on the GM 4L60-E transmission this was done on a 2002 Chevy Silverado but is also used in Chevy, GMC, Buick, Pontiac, Cadillac, Hummer, Saab, Oldsmobile, and Isuzu. This transmission was used in these vehicles from 1993-2014. Transmission filter and fluid was purchased from Amazon and I have provided a link below. Make sure you check your transmission pan before ordering a filter. The deep pan will have a step down that covers 3/4 of the bottom of the pan and the shallow pan will be completely flat.
