Rosario Central: The Club with the Name of the City
Argentina Football League - 1st Division - Liga Profesional

PIBE LIFE is a short documentary series showcasing cancha stories and football culture in Argentina. Rosario Central, from the 3rd biggest city in Argentina (Rosario) is also known as "El Canalla" or "La Academia" and one of the clubs with the richest history in the "interior" of Argentina.

Founded in 1889, Rosario Central is one of the football pioneers in Argentina. They share together with Newell's Old Boys a passionate rivalry for the city of Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe. "Los Guerreros" will be present every weekend at "El Gigante de Arroyito", Central's stadium. Famous Argentinian characters such as Roberto "El Negro" Fontanarrosa, Alberto "El Negro" Olmedo, "El Che" Guevara and Fito Páez are well-known Canallas.

This PIBE LIFE edition is special because it was co-directed and edited by a lifelong Central fan, Lucio Minigutti. We interviewed Aldo Poy, arguably Central's #1 legend, winner of the Championship of 1971 ('Campeonato Nacional del 71') won by Rosario Central after winning the city Derby at River Plate's "El Monumental" stadium, starring an exhilarating story of "El Viejo Casale".
