This is an example of a Revelation Presentation submitted by a student enrolled in my Social Psychology course. It is posted here (with the student's permission) to help future students in the class. Students create Revelation Presentations early in the semester. The presentations are designed to focus on one’s unique, new ideas about social thought and behavior. The presentations should focus on one primary topic, with the student’s new and interesting revelations about social thought and behavior highlighted. Revelation Presentations do not need to be research proposals, nor do they need to summarize existing research or theories discussed in the textbook or elsewhere. Instead, students should simply share what they are thinking, so that they and their classmates can explore something new and interesting about social thought and behavior.
