Ingrid entered the Women’s Flip the Script program at Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit. Ingrid transitioned more easily than more into the program, as she became more and more interested in careers in the skill and construction trade industry. Ingrid had extraordinary mathematic skills and was soon tutoring other Flip the Script participants while preparing to test for the Millwright Apprenticeship. Within a year she was accepted into the Millwright Apprenticeship Local 1102 Detroit.
