One of the most interesting and not very well known discoveries made in The Luxor Temple is the concept of "transparency," whereby certain carvings complement each other from opposite sides of the same stone wall, creating a new whole. This effect is achieved through an exceptional level of technical precision and a deliberate intention to create a new, more intuitive understanding of a concept. Another related concept called "transposition" involves arranging key elements to create multi-layered connections across different walls. These principles are similar to the modern psychology concept of "Gestalt," whereby the whole is different from the sum of its parts. These discoveries bring a new dimension to the interpretation of ancient Egyptian texts and suggest a unique way of representing ideas through symbols.
