Welcome to my Back Porch! It’s a series of performance videos of songs I like to sing, mostly classics from the 1960s to 80s, and a few originals. I release one each Wednesday and Saturday.

There’ve been many covers made of this song by prominent artists – Ramsey Lewis, Jaggar & Bowie, The Mamas and the Papas, Bryan Ferry, and others. But I always liked the original best. Yet I still thought even that version was a bit too restrained and polite. I wanted the song to sweat a little, you know? So here’s my version, what do you think?
