Corrections at the end of the description
This was a 30-minute student presentation for first-year physics intended for engineering majors. The topic was picked by the student, but it was required to describe the physics of a mechanical system. I chose to teach the some of the general mechanics of atmospheric skip entry of a manned reentry capsule. For the sake of the audience which was composed of first-year physics students and the limited time to teach such a complex subject much of the material was omitted. Note that at the time of this presentation I am a second semester freshman and much of my independent research covered material that is intended for graduate students and industry professionals. I welcome any feedback and corrections.

Corrections
Around 1:19 I said "40+ decades of manned space flight..." I had meant to say, "40+ years..." A more accurate description would be "nearly 60 years of manned space flight," though "40+ years" is not incorrect.
At 10:21 I said "typically they skip once but you can calculate multiple skips," in reference to a question of do [reenty capsules] only skip once. Truth be told I do not know and have not found any definitive information regarding this question. I should not have answered a question to which I did not know the answer with anything other than, "I am not sure. I did not come across that in my research." This is not only an error in information, but a poor judgment call on my part.
At 16:40 I said "we assume the earth is linear." The word I was looking for was "planar." In Atmospheric entry we assume the Earth is planar and NOT linear.
