Gobi Pepper Fry 🤤
Ingredients:
- [ ] Cauliflower
- [ ] Salt
- [ ] Hot water
- [ ] Maida/ All purpose flour - 1 cup
- [ ] Corn flour - 3/4 cup
- [ ] Turmeric - 2 tsp
- [ ] Black pepper powder - 2 tsp
- [ ] Garam masala - 1 tsp
- [ ] Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- [ ] Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- [ ] Finely chopped curry leaves - 10
- [ ] Water
- [ ] Oil
- [ ] Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- [ ] Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- [ ] Curry leaves - 10
- [ ] Onion - 1 (roughly chopped)
- [ ] Capsicum/ Green pepper - 1 (roughly chopped)
- [ ] Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- [ ] Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- [ ] Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
- [ ] Cilantro/ Coriander leaves - finely chopped

Recipe:
- [ ] In a large bowl, add cauliflower florets
- [ ] Add salt & hot water and let it soak for 10 mins
- [ ] Drain the water and keep the cauliflower florets aside to cool completely
- [ ] In a bowl take 1 cup maida/ all purpose flour and 3/4 cup corn flour
- [ ] Add 1 tsp turmeric powder , 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp red chili powder, salt , 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and finely chopped curry leaves (10)
- [ ] Add water and mix well using a whisk to make sure there are no lumps
- [ ] Add the blanched cauliflower and coat the cauliflower well with batter
- [ ] Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and crisp
- [ ] In a pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds , curry leaves and let it splutter till it turns aromatic
- [ ] Now, add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and sauté for few mins
- [ ] Add onion, green pepper/ capsicum and sauté for few mins
- [ ] Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, salt and 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- [ ] Sauté well on high flame until the spices are combined
- [ ] Add the fried cauliflower and mix gently for few mins
- [ ] Add coriander leaves/ cilantro to garnish
- [ ] Crispy and tasty gobi pepper fry is ready! Enjoy!
