We pulled up to the oldest running Sizzler in Downey and it felt like stepping into a time machine. Opened back in the early 60’s but newly remodeled with groovy wood-paneled walls, funky jazz music bumping, and a retro vibe that just felt immaculate for lunch. 🪩

Off the rip, they brought out The Sizzler Platter only available at this location — a sizzling hot plate stacked with onions, steak fries, and a juicy, perfectly cooked steak. We hit it with their Ribby’s steakhouse sauce and dove right in. 🔥🥩

Marc had to get his old-school favorite, the Malibu Chicken, and turned it into a sandwich with their famous cheese toast. TK went off and built a loaded baked potato with broccoli cheddar soup on top. After that, we lived out our childhood dreams and went wild building chicken nugget nachos with buffalo sauce. 😮‍💨

And for dessert? Marc was playing jazz and didn’t hold back, ice cream cone loaded with their banana pudding, vanilla soft serve, and Oreos. It was absolute chaos in the best way possible. 🍦

There’s no rules at Sizzler, they know how to let you play with your food and vibe. It’s that perfect mix of nostalgia and anything-goes-buffet energy.
