The wisest Dragonlord Trainer faces the strongest Dragonlord of all time: Valen "Soypulchure" Impetus. This was initially intended to be a fast clear. At 37 turns and all default potions, it is... certainly not that. Apologies for the potentially long wait periods between actions during the Old Man half of the fight, I tried to be quick about it but that boss is actually quite complicated to deal with.

Boy, do I have a lot to say about this clear. First off, it's probably a much better idea to just nuke Kinnar with Inner Darkness (requires Dark Ritual to be used here) either on T15 i.e. second turn of Chimeric Defense where nothing needs to be dodged, or after T20 i.e. second Dragon Scales. To the detriment of my own sanity, I decided to save Inner Darkness for the Old Man where it would deal more damage due to Dark Favor and Escelence's +30% Racial. Safe to say that you may have much better luck tackling the fight differently than I did, my choices were made in the interest of speed only.
Secondly, I was not expecting to run 100 CHA Offensive Dragon Doomer, but a 200 CHA Scales being needed on the first turn as well as tight damage margins encourage a high CHA build to squeeze out as much damage and utility from the pet dragon as possible. This allows two Scales, Outrages, and Novas into Kinnar before he dies, as well as a noticeable damage contribution from the offensive skills.
Third, T9 in the drafts actually features Uragiri Void Barrier with the double purpose of getting higher reflection damage on Kinnar as well as guaranteeing safety from the stun, however this requires a higher HP buffer (700+ should service) and still puts you at risk to losing to excessive crits, especially later on during the turn. As such, I opted not to reset due to low HP and to just gamble against the stun and try to make up for the lost damage with crit luck later on. But yeah, this entire strategy was drafted with Uragiri Void Barrier in mind and it's a little sad that I wasn't able to showcase it here, but I do have a few challenges to clean up where it might make a cameo now that I'm comfortable with using it.
On the tight damage margins, it is ideal to get Kinnar below 12k HP before he sets up the Mana Barrier on T5, and below 5k HP before he acts on T15. The former did happen during the run but the latter did not, due to the omission of Uragiri Void Barrier. Nonetheless, a Doom proc helped ease out the damage requirements when Kinnar's Mana Barrier came back down on T21.
Once Kinnar dies, you are not nearly out of the woods. If the Old Man of the Wastes hit his attack on T14 (I believe this is the culprit but I'm not sure), then he uses the 1200% Autocrit Stone nuke on T24 instead of T25 like in the video. The HP margins in this video should allow you to survive this, but when operating at a deficit, there exists the likelihood of the run just ending there. Afterwards, his battle becomes an annoying maze of Solidifying Will cooldown coinflips and random hit/miss RNG that influences his rotation.
Anyhow, when the Old Man's health is sufficiently low and Solidifying Will is 1 turn away from activating, Party Tog is equipped, after which Favor and the buff are clicked into the Solid turn. It is obviously not ideal for him to roll a 3-turn Solidifying here, which is why it would be more consistent to keep in mind his nuke cycle and stall him until he has lower health, or simply, as suggested earlier, to use Inner Darkness on Kinnar and just slug it out against the old man.
