Liquid biopsies to monitor cancer genomics | Dr Nitzan Rosenfeld

These non-invasive diagnostic techniques can identify cancer mutations, as the circulating tumour DNA is sequenced and analysed to provide more detailed and personalised information about how that person's cancer should be treated.

The Foulkes Foundation Medal Lecture 2016, "Noninvasive cancer genomics (and how I got there)" was given by Dr Nitzan Rosenfeld. He is a senior group leader at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge. Dr Rosenfeld is also a founder and Chief Scientific Officer of spin-out company Inivata, using this research to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment.
