which documents every transfer in the Scottish top flight since it's inception.

I took the names and put them in google to find the transfer fee. Of course, this method is not perfect. The further back you go, the harder it is to find information and so when talking about transfers before 1950, it's quite likely I missed one, or made a mistake.

Then there is also the differing information from different sources. For example, several sites claim that Jim Baxter's £17,500 transfer to rangers in 1960 was a Scottish record. However, if the £23,500 quoted for Billy Steel's move to Dundee in 1950 is correct, then it is impossible for Baxter to have been the record transfer.
