In today's video I'm trying out a product on popular demand.
I received a couple of requests to try the Ustraa Hair Cream and share my thoughts on it.
So... is the Ustraa Hair Cream CG approved and if so, would I recommend it?

To be frank, I'm not sure of the ingredients. It's clear that a hair cream would not contain sulphates so I do feel like the labelling is slightly redundant. The real question here is, does it contain silicone?
Since I'm not sure of the ingredients, I cannot comment on its cg friendly status. Even if it were cg friendly, I still feel like its missing something, quality wise.

Now would I recommend it? No.
If you compare this product to the other budget cg products out there, it pales in comparison.

It's true that I use a lot of budget products on this channel. Most of my content highlights budget friendly CG approved products that are available in India. But I do draw the line somewhere. Quality wise, this product just did not cut it for me. I made this video weeks ago and mulled over it for weeks.
Should I post it? Would you misconstrue it as me signing off on the product? (I'm not). I know some people may see the thumbnail and assume that I'm recommending the product.

After a lot of thinking, I've come to the following conclusion:
If I truly feel like a budget product can go toe to toe with other cg products, quality wise, I'm happy to use and recommend it.
Which is not the case with this product and therefore hand to my heart, I do not feel comfortable recommending it.

I can see this as a good fit for people who have textured hair who absolutely do not have the budget for elaborate cg routines and require a super budget friendly, cost effective product for their wavy and curly hair. If you do not follow the curly girl method and are not too fussed about ingredients, all you want is a budget product to use as a leave-in/curl cream, then this may be a good fit for you.

Personally I would not use the product again. Simply put, what I wouldn't personally use, I cant ethically recommend. That being said I do see this product being a fit for some people.

hair products work differently for different people. It is quite possible for you to dislike a product that I love.
It's quite possible for you to be allergic to the products I use in my videos.
I only use cruelty free makeup/products therefore the eyeshadow pigments will sometimes contain dyes. These sometimes cause staining of the eyelid. Please patch test before use
