The S9 represents the first entry into the world of NFC communications in a Chinese watch, and it is No.1's way of offering a unique feature for a traditional tethering watch.

The way NFC works on this watch is to hold your personal business card information and make it available for instant transfer to a smart phone. When loaded with your information, the S9 waits for you to tap your watch to the back of a phone -- any phone that has NFC turned on. At that point a prompt appears on the phone that an address "VCard" is waiting to be transferred and asks to accept or not. If it is accepted, the VCard is added to the contacts app on the phone, and you have just passed your electronic business card to this phone.

To make this work you must first have your S9 tethered to your personal phone via the tethering app Fundo Wear. Then you need to download a special NFC tag writing app called PR e-Vcard by ShenZhen Pure Intelligent Technology CO.,LTD. As you will see in today's video, you should uninstall Fundo Wear app and instead install the Mediatek SmartDevice app for installing watch faces. Afterwards, reverse this process so you have Fundo Wear as your tethering app because it has more capabilities than the Meadiatek SmartDevice app. This only applies if you can't get the FundoWear app to install the watch faces, which, as of this writing, still doesn't work.

For those who are experiencing bluetooth disconnecting problems. I was losing connection nearly every 2-3 minutes.
Solution: First download and install Mediatek Smartdevice app from the google/IOS store.
From the settings menu on the watch(BT setting) turn on bluetooth. Then turn on your mobile phone bluetooth but dont pick the watch from there, just close the bluetooth dialog box. Open Mediatek Smartdevice app and tap the square icon written MEDIATEK inside and choose your watch name from there. Thats all! I havent met any connection problem ever since :)
