While Mike Austin had a massive amount of knowledge about the golf swing, you can see he sometimes had a very impatient and salty style of teaching it. Sometimes he would holler so loud the whole range would turn around. But it was mostly because of his passion and unwillingness to suffer fools.

When I worked with Mike I had to keep telling him I valued his knowledge and I was taking everything he said very seriously, but it didn't always save me from his sharp tongue!

He was kinder and softer with women generally, and this female student was hanging in there well until she smashed the head of her 7 iron into his cranium. Hilarious!
