This is a calm woodworking film about making an oak coffee table with a butterfly joint — from raw slab to finished furniture.

Over five days, I mill, flatten, join, sand, and oil the piece, capturing every stage of transformation. The film is slow and quiet — made to show the beauty of craft, wood texture, and patient process.

18:28 – Day 5. Trimming the butterfly joints flush with the table surface.
19:15 – Long sanding process up to 180 grit for a silky finish.
19:30 – Cutting precise slots for the legs and assembling everything tightly.
20:15 – Installing threaded inserts for a reliable connection.
20:50 – Applying oil-wax finish and polishing by hand.
23:05 – Final reveal — oak grain glowing in soft light.
