Fighting Games & The Book Of 5 Rings

The Way of the Warrior as it applies to Fighting Games. I don't 100% understand the teachings of Miyamoto Musashi. However, it is pretty fun to try to make connections between an actual art of killing & something as trivial as a competitive video game genre. So take the things explained in this video with a grain of salt. There are a lot of versions/translations of The Book of 5 Rings so I could very well be misinterpreting what he says.

I don't know why it's called The Book of 5 Rings honestly. It's easier to think of it as The Book of 5 Elements--since there are 5 chapters (Books) that refer to the 5 Elements of battle. The 5 Elements are: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Void. These 5 chapters aren't mutually exclusive and build upon each other a lot.
