Robbinsdale’s Video Universe Announces They Will Close in 2023

The last video rental store in the northwest suburbs, possibly in the state, announced that 2023 will be their last year of business. Video Universe owner Scott Prost is retiring. “This is one of the last few stores like this in the entire country,” said Prost, who hints that he’s open to someone else keeping the store open. “People love video so much. If somebody is interested, they could make an offer for this whole thing if they want to.”
