Exploring Leon’s Secret Gold Sniping Spot in Northern NSW: Big Nuggets, Snakes & Surprise Finds!

In this adventure, I team up with Leon, a seasoned gold sniper, as he takes me to one of his secret gold-hunting spots in the breathtaking countryside of Northern New South Wales. This location is nothing short of incredible, with pristine creeks cutting through lush bushland. But as with any good adventure, there were a few surprises along the way—some exciting and others a little nerve-wracking.

The journey to the sniping spot started with a bit of a scare when we crossed paths with a snake on the trail. It’s always a good reminder that nature is full of surprises, and this one definitely gave me a proper fright! Leon, of course, handled it like a pro, and soon enough, we were back on track, ready to uncover some gold.

Once we hit the water, it didn’t take long for the action to heat up. Leon was on fire, pulling out his biggest nugget yet! Watching his reaction was priceless—it’s moments like these that make gold sniping so rewarding. I didn’t do too badly myself, managing to find a decent amount of gold, but Leon’s find really stole the show.

After a solid session sniping, we decided to change things up and hit the area with metal detectors. I wasn’t expecting much, but the results were nothing short of surprising. The ground in this region seems to have a lot of potential, and we were able to unearth some incredible finds that made this trip even more memorable.
