LOCATION :- The former Royal Earlswood Asylum was opened by Prince Albert in June 1855. The avenue of Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) Red Cedars, is one of the oldest and most impressive in The British Isles. Regrettably, several of these magnificent trees succumbed to the hurricane of 1987.
